I joined Duncan Lewis on a work placement where I got to see how the firm works and become familiar with the way department works. I did 2 weeks work experience in the Family team snd then 2 weeks in the immigration team. It was insightful and has taught me a lot over the last 4 weeks. I am now looking forward to joining Duncan Lewis as a caseworker in the family department.

The work placement scheme is becoming more common and I think works better than simply applying for various vacancies. This allowed me to see if I fitted into the working environment at Duncan Lewis and I am very happy to be part of a friendly firm and can see myself working to apply for a training contract at Duncan Lewis when the opportunity arrises.
